Company History

DIG was founded in 2001 as the development partner of one of the world’s most acclaimed wedding and event planning firms. A leader and pioneer in interactive media, DIG projects have included some of the first Flash websites, advanced server applications for image processing, and 3D training for surgeons.

In 2011, DIG worked extensively with, Starmount Systems, one of the leading Oracle Retail Partners, in developing prototypes and final products for their line of mobile point of sale solutions. Of the five retail major firms that will have Apple devices rolled out chain-wide in the U.S. by the end of Q1 2012, four will use Starmount technology. The other is Apple.

DIG also worked with a leading medical marketing company on products for mobile devices, incorporating sales presentations and eLearning based in both native code and the emerging HTML5 standards.

In 2010, DIG was the development partner of LifeForms Creative, a Texas-based mobile startup, and released LifeForms, a personal information management and forms editing app for the iPad that debuted at #5 in the App Store for Productivity and has been featured as New and Noteworthy by Apple in 5 countries.

In 2008, DIG partnered with another firm to create reallyMedia, a brand for the App Store that released the first games for iPhone ever developed with the Ansca Corona SDK. reallyMedia games have been downloaded over 25,000 times in 15 countries.

DIG recently began international work with training and consulting engagements in Canada. DIG operates as a virtual firm with a permanent sales office in Tampa, Florida. All development and design staff are based in the US, as has been DIG policy since it was founded.
